Oh, Rajo Laurel. You really know how to make a woman want.
Once again, you’ve managed to leave us caressing our screens as we swipe through House of Laurel’s Holiday 2026 offering. Titled Confluence, the upcoming collection has all the reasons we keep returning to the Filipino designer.

How Art and Memory Shaped Rajo Laurel’s Holiday 2026 Collection

As always, his command of texture is irresistible, with proportion becoming another opportunity to play. His draping brings versatility into the equation as it gives the wearer the freedom to adjust a piece and discover a different silhouette each time. Feminine sensuality runs naturally throughout, joined by a welcome burst of mixed prints and metallic fringe.

Robert Rauschenberg had a hand in all this visual indulgence. Laurel found himself drawn to the American artist’s assemblage works and the freedom he saw in their layers. “His work informed many disciplines that inspired us to have textures and be more experimental,” he shares with MEGA. From there came pieces he describes through “tension, technique and friction.”

His own archive gave him another place to play. Magpie + Memphis from 2016 began with Laurel and his team collecting items that made them happy, while When I Was 5 from 2017 reached back to his childhood memories. Both made a comeback. “We wanted to piece together what we truly loved and what we were absolutely passionate about,” he explains.
Confluence Charts a Path to Joy

“Joy is such a peculiar and special place,” Laurel says. “This place is often quite difficult to get to, but when you do, it is like this delicious and magical feeling that you constantly want to return to.”
Naturally, Laurel plans on taking us there dressed to the nines: “In my world, I lead you there by using the vocabulary of clothes and how this makes you feel. How can we bring you to JOY by dressing up? By looking good and hopefully through this, you feel good as well.”

Well, he certainly has the looking good part handled. Confluence’s forgiving color palette already has us thinking about it before the holidays arrive. With designs this easy to desire, its release can’t come soon enough.
