By 9 AM, the sun was already fully out, casting that unmistakable kind of heat over BGC that signals one thing: summer is near, and she’s not arriving quietly.
Still, at Central Square, not a single girl seemed bothered.

Maybe it was the sea of pink and white dresses, polished blazers, and fresh-faced glam. Maybe it was the kind of crowd that knows how to serve brightness even in the heat. Or maybe it was the energy of the occasion itself: a Women’s Month celebration by Cetaphil Bright Healthy Radiance, where everything felt warm, feminine, and deliciously in sync.
This was not just a beauty event. It was a full-fledged girl’s girl gathering.

A Morning Dressed in Pink

The Cetaphil booth at Central Square was impossible to miss. With pink-striped details and a bright, summery feel, the space was playful, polished, and full of charm. Even with the warmth of the day settling in early, the crowd looked fresh. Very fresh.
Girls mingled, reunited with friends, made new ones, and documented everything, some alongside their own personal photographers. Even some of the content crew got the memo and showed up in pink.
It was cohesive. It was cute. It was committed to the bit.
Girl’s Girl Energy Was Everywhere

Radiance line.

The event revolved around a question that felt perfectly timed for Women’s Month: What does it really mean to be a girl’s girl?
The answers came alive in every corner of the booth.
On the left side, guests recorded their own girl’s girl advice, which later turned into downloadable GIFs, equal parts keepsake and digital love note. Fisheye mirrors nearby invited everyone into the kind of photo moment that practically begged to be posted.
On the right side, a compliment wall filled with affirmations and love letters reminded guests that romance does not begin and end with Valentine’s Day. Sometimes, the most important words are the ones you give yourself. In a world that can be loud with comparison, there was something quietly powerful about a space built for encouragement.
That same spirit came through Cetaphil’s current ambassador, Catriona Gray’s words: “In pageantry, like we’re literally competing with each other. I came to the realization that I had early on in my pageant journey that constantly comparing yourself to another person doesn’t make you perform better.”

Because being a girl’s girl, as the event made clear, is not about competing. It is about supporting. It is about celebrating another woman’s glow without dimming your own. Catriona also spoke about why having a skincare routine she can trust matters just as much. “Having a skin care routine that is trustworthy no matter where my work takes me, I just feel like I can depend on that.” She added that the routine has stayed with her through work days, days off, beach trips, and even colder climates, making it “Another thing that I just don’t have to think about, because I know it’s got my back. Like a girl’s girl!”
Why Kaila Fits The Moment

Receiving the warmest welcome was Kaila Estrada, now officially the newest ambassador of Cetaphil Bright Healthy Radiance.
The pairing feels right on time. Kaila carries a kind of beauty that feels especially resonant now: poised, feminine, and increasingly self-assured. As she approaches her 30s, she represents a womanhood that feels softer, steadier, and more intentional, the kind that no longer needs to perform to be powerful.
More than simply looking the part, Kaila gives language to what this kind of radiance actually means. “I feel like womanhood for me means rooting myself in self-love and finding the strength in softness,” she shared. It is a perspective that feels especially fitting for this chapter of her life. Reflecting on what feels most true to her now, she said, “Finding strength in being soft. I feel like growing up, I had this idea that you couldn’t be strong if you were soft or you couldn’t be soft and strong at the same time, and now I’m learning there’s strength in being soft, and that’s the beauty of being a woman.”
Softness Can Still Be Strength

Kaila shared that this understanding of womanhood was shaped in large part by the women she grew up with. “I feel like I made that realization because I have so many women in my family, very strong, independent women that are fierce and feisty, but are also very warm and gentle, and I feel like I grew up becoming that as well, and I love it, and I’m embracing it.”
Growing up in a household of mostly women gave her a close view of how varied womanhood can be. “I love being in a family that’s mostly women, because I’m able to sort of see for myself different personalities and different types of strength and different types of fierceness and different sorts of paths or experiences of being a woman,” she said. “And I feel like I have a better idea of what a woman is like, because of the women in my family and because of the examples that they have set for me growing up.”That emotional clarity also comes with a willingness to evolve. “I guess I’m letting go of limiting myself and trying new things,” Kaila said. “I’m open to trying new things now, and I want to be able to explore more.”
A Radiance That Feels Lived In

That is what makes Kaila such a compelling fit for Cetaphil Bright Healthy Radiance. The line, consisting of cleanser, toner, day cream, night cream, bar, body wash, and lotion, speaks to a kind of glow rooted not just in appearance, but in care, consistency, and confidence. Cetaphil Bright Healthy Radiance is clinically proven to improve dark spots, hyperpigmentation, and also reveal the skin’s inner radiance without irritation. It is expertly formulated with gentle brightening technology, combining niacinamide, sea daffodil, and nourishing antioxidants to help address dark spots while helping prevent them, too.
Kaila has already proven she can command a cover, but here, she steps beyond the glossy frame and into something even more compelling: a woman fully settling into her own light—and specifically that weekend, just when the sun shone bright.
And in a Women’s Month celebration built around the spirit of a girl’s girl, that kind of radiance felt especially worth honoring.
