For Dennis Carpio, it was a practical bout of nostalgia when he purchased one from his neighbor and restored it. A rarity today, his 1988 Sentra echoes his appreciation for timelessness.
On the other hand, a car can also be a reminder of our loved ones. Nicky Tuason, owner of his grandparents’ X-Trail, pays homage everyday to the last car of his childhood and of the love of his elders by riding with it now.
“It saw me grow up and was always there growing up alongside me.” Nicky says.
As one of their most significant milestones, Nissan’s Navara was one of their best combinations of aesthetic and function yet. For a mother and her family, it was the exact partner they needed. Den Paulino says, “It’s our family car and it brought us to a lot of milestones, especially the kids. We did a lot of firsts with our Navara.”
