Some actors spend years, even decades, chasing their breakout role. Zhang Jingyi only needed five.

A year after graduating from the Beijing Film Academy, she signed with a label, and within two years, she was already making her television debut. Since then, she has remained a constant presence on screen—her talent and style also attracting fashion and beauty deals along the way.

Captivating Audiences, One Role at a Time

While the Chinese actress is best known for her role in drama Fall in Love (2021), it was in Lighter and Princess (2022) that she found global fame.  By 2023, she had been nominated and awarded for exceptional performance as a new face in the industry, most especially in her films Hidden Blade, Godspeed, and Tale of the Night.

Since Jingyi first appeared on Chinese screens, she has never really left. She quickly became a familiar sight in cinemas, television shows, and on streaming platforms. Her striking presence and growing influence soon caught the attention of brands, carrying her image from the screen to billboards across the country.

Influence Beyond Acting

Although her breakthrough came in five years, she had already secured major ambassadorships and partnerships within her first three. Today, the actress has signed with several luxury brands spanning across both fashion and beauty—Lancôme, Cartier, Tod’s, René Furterer, and Burberry.

Still a new face in the industry and Jingyi had already become a trusted face for brands that not only aligned with her image but also believed in her talent.
