What a feast for the eyes the opening show was. Schiaparelli, at this year’s Haute Couture Week F/W 2025, gave us everything and more. A mechanical heart beat down the runway. Surreal, creature-like silhouettes made their entrance. Lips were either bold red or inky black—no in-between. But look a little closer and skin-lovers will spot something even more striking: sublime skin, care of no other than the show’s key makeup artist Dame Pat McGrath.

Sublime. It’s no new term in the world of McGrath. The Sublime Perfection Foundation, the Sublime Eyeshadow Palette, the Sublime Perfection System—these are staples in every beauty lover’s kit. Pat McGrath Labs has built an entire universe around it.
What is Sublime Skin?

Or rather, who? She’s porcelain’s more relaxed sibling. She’s the softer sister—more gentle, more wearable, and more liberal. She’s not as tough and glassy, and doesn’t demand good lighting or rigid rules. She moves with you. Smiles with you. Transitions from the boardroom at ten to dinner date at eight without breaking a sweat.
Most of all, she’s Pat McGrath’s latest beauty muse, and she takes to Instagram to reveal the exact breakdown.
How to Get Sublime Skin
Presenting the stars of the show: the Skin Fetish: Sublime Perfection Foundation and the Highlighter + Balm Duo from the same line, layered to create that luminous base. On the eyes, the Mothership I: Subliminal palette for the most beautiful, metallic sheen, paired with the Fetisheyes Mascara for definition. And on the lips: the Legendary Longwear Lip Liner and Dramatique Mega Lip Pencil, both in the shade ‘Elson.’

McGrath puts an even heavier emphasis on one product: the Skin Fetish: Glass 001 Spray. Luminous, weightless, and built to last, it’s her ultimate secret to a customizable glass-skin glow. It also lasts for 16 hours. If you’re narrowing it down to one glass-skin essential, let this be it.
We’ve all heard it: the secret to glass skin is good skincare. And while we’re not about to argue with a solid cleanse and serum, sometimes you need a faster route to it. The kind you can apply, spritz, and walk out the door with. Makeup makes for a good cheat code, and even Pat McGrath agrees.
