You don’t have to be a famous drag queen to make a difference. You don’t have to make yourself known with an action that makes waves online. You just have to be you, in all your vibrant colors and resounding truths. And the rest will follow.
TikTok’s #ForYourPride campaign envisions 2025 as the moment made for the Philippine visionaries and modern trailblazers that deeply inspire today’s queer communities. This celebration of real stories and bold voices shines an undimmed light on the LGBTQIA+ creators that prove authenticity and empathy are integral tools to progress, not one-and-dones that come and go.

So, this diverse group shares the belief in a single message that unites them—keep your voice loud and proud.
Today’s Gay Superstars
There’s no official leader here, but if there was someone leading the charge for this crew, then Tita Baby fits in almost too perfectly.

Beloved for the impact she left on Drag Race Philippines Season 3, Tita Baby continues to move with a magnetic presence that declares one thing: be yourself and love yourself to the fullest. “It’s [about] joy, liberation, and connection. When you live your truth, you make a difference.” she declares. “When people message me saying they finally feel seen and validated, that’s the power of representation.”
Now that TikTok has become one of her strongest platforms, she spearheads real change through being the person that others like her could look to and say, “I can do that too” at the tap-and-view of just one video.

Rica Salomon is blessed with a supportive family yet she understands that this is the exception and not the rule in the Philippines. “It’s not just about amplifying trans voices, it’s also about using your platform [and privilege] to challenge hate and misinformation,” she says.
Ever since she blew up with her petition that allowed trans students to appear as their real selves in their university’s yearbook back in 2015, her momentum carries forward through encouraging allyship online—effective and impactful through the continued emphasis on awareness, visibility, and calls to communal action.

For the boys that want to express their hair in the way they truly desire, Paul Sumayao and Jedi Directo’s Barbierro assures this: ”ang buhok ay walang kasarian (hair has no gender)”, in Paul’s own words.
More than a barbershop, Barbierro is a statement. Once, this place bred anxiety from the expectation of masculinity. This is no more with the couple’s newest shop. Here, men can be comfortable amongst others in reflecting who they are with every trim and shave.
TikTok has given them the best tool for the job. As the couple explains, “For us to change the narrative [around being queer and being queer business owners], we felt talking to the younger generation would give us a better vantage point—and the younger generation is on TikTok,”.
Threads of Change
Pure, genuine love for other queer folk weaves these people together. Together, they show that best through the world’s leading short-form content platform.
Beauty veteran Belle Rodolfo embodies this truth. Her transition from traditional media to TikTok proves that anyone can meaningfully contribute to movements like #ForYourPride. She knows firsthand how rare it is to see queer women reflected truthfully in mainstream media. With her growing success, she’s committed to carving out space for others like her on powerful platforms like TikTok—cultivating a tapestry of transformation that affirms one simple fact: queer women can simply be. As she puts it, “Queer joy is existing freely, being loved, [and] being ordinary in the most beautiful way.”
The road to change is a long one—tread by countless names and stories. Yet, its pavement never cracks nor fades. Its purpose renews it, for the next generation that comes to walk its path.
Every voice matters with #ForYourPride 2025. Echo your truths, and take part in the campaign. TikTok’s Philippine account is a great place to start your involvement.
