Four decades in, and Heart Evangelista is embracing it all—the wins, the lessons, and the fearless stride into her next chapter
Turning a year older is often framed as a countdown where a woman slowly retreats from relevance. But for Heart Evangelista, it’s the opposite—a forward march, a widening horizon. As the global fashion icon steps into her forties, she carries the weight of her achievements over the years with the grace of someone who knows the best chapters are still ahead. There’s no hesitation, no fear—just a brave, stylish stride into a decade where the to-do list of life is long, but so is the list of things she finally gets to savor.

There are personalities in fashion who follow trends, and then there are those who become the moment itself. The multi-hyphenate has always belonged to the latter—an unwavering figure whose presence alone can shift the tempo of a room, a runway, a season. Lo and behold, her influence was quantified. As the top APAC celebrity in total Media Impact Value at last year’s Paris Fashion Week, it’s clear her influence stretched far beyond her attendance, capturing the gaze of top fashion houses, industry insiders, and fashion devotees alike. This has earned her invites to the major fashion weeks in Paris, Milan, and New York, and coveted luxury brand ambassadorships.

For years, Heart has been a front-row fixture at these shows—her presence a constant variable, her style a conversation in itself. Yet she had a surprising first. While she once believed she was too short to walk the runway, a notion she revealed even her father playfully echoed, she crossed this threshold in 2023. She opened for Vietnamese designer Phan Huy’s F/W presentation at Paris Fashion Week—her inaugural fashion week runway appearance. Turns out, fashion truly measures in moments, and this was one.

There is, however, more to Heart than couture and runways. Her story is woven through magazine covers, industry awards, and this one-of-a-kind recognition that comes from not just showing up, but showing up with a substantial story to tell.
Apart from gracing numerous MEGA covers over the years, Heart was named the MEGA Icon at the 2024 MEGA Fashion Awards—an honor that looks past style and status to recognize true influence. It acknowledges that—while she is undeniably beautiful and fashionable—her presence in the industry has never just been surface-level. It’s her authenticity and empowering nature that makes her stand the test of time.
Then came Heart World, a reality series that peels back that version of her life people think they know. It’s not the glossy highlight reel one would see in her perfectly curated Instagram feed—it’s the push and pull of life, the ugly, the sad, the control, and the chaos. Because, while on paper she is a fashion icon, an artist, and a businesswoman, her life isn’t lived on paper. She’s a wife and a stepmother navigating the realities of family life, and a friend who, like everyone else, has their off days.
“I’ve come to love every part of me—flaws, fears, and everything in between. I’ve learned things the hard way, but more importantly, I’ve learned to forgive myself.”

Because a single arena is never enough, Heart stepped into another—leadership, recently sworn in as the president of the Senate Spouses Foundation, Inc. (SSFI). Under her leadership, this organization aims to support various social programs, from education to healthcare initiatives, proving that her influence and heart for service extends far beyond the realm of fashion.
It’s almost poetic that she was born on Valentine’s Day, like destiny knew she’d become a woman whose heart isn’t just for show—but one that gives, leads, and leaves an impact. But there’s this shift as she steps into a new decade. The love she’s so generously shared seems to be circling more and more back into its source—herself. As Heart reflects in an Instagram post, “The journey has shown me what truly matters: love, peace, and being true to myself.”
