BINI Wins the Best Asia Act Award at the 2024 MTV EMAs

The Nation’s Girl Group, BINI, just received their award for Best Asia Act in the MTV Europe Music Awards

Going for back-to-back shows and endorsements, BINI just achieved another milestone—winning the Best Act title at the MTV Europe Music Awards—and the first Filipino act to do so! “We hope [that] we can keep sharing our music with you, and that the world can discover more of Filipino music,” Mikha, one of the members of the girl group, said as they received their recognition through a video.

Won through fan voting on the MTV website, the all-girl octet won over Japanese girl group Sakurazaka46, Malaysian band Masdo, Indonesian singer Mahalini, and South Korean girl group ILLIT.

During the weekend, the girls also made waves online for two things—Mikha’s birthday shoot and their song getting featured at an NBA game! The group’s main rapper posted her photos on her personal account, eliciting excited reactions from Blooms. Meanwhile, the Clippers Spirit danced to “Cherry on Top” during the halftime show between the LA Clippers and the Toronto Raptors.

This coming November 16 to 18, BINI will be performing at the Araneta Coliseum for their Grand BINIverse concert with a star-studded guest lineup including Asia’s Songbird Regine Velasquez, the Unkabogable Superstar Vice Ganda, and more. Indeed, their MTV win truly feels like a cherry on top for their continuous achievements!
