As a working mom, Shar Cabigas has mastered anticipating sudden shifts in her routine, from last minute work meetings to spontaneous playdates and evening commitments. She has learned to build her everyday wardrobe around this unpredictability, opting for outfits that transition effortlessly from day to night.

On a typical day, she sticks to her go-to formula: a button-down with relaxed jeans or tailored trousers or a tee with a midi skirt, usually paired with low-court heels or ballet flats. “I run cold, so I always have an oversized blazer or jacket on hand. It’s both my comfort layer and style staple. I start with my two favorites for accessories: my reset engagement ring and a signet that never leaves my pinky. From there, I build, depending on the day. I’m currently into quietly impactful pieces and a roomy bag that fits everything—from snacks to a few toys to my laptop!”

EVOLVING WITH ONE’S STYLE

For Cabigas, the pieces she has been reaching for these days reflect where she is in life: grounded, playful, open to risk, and ready for whatever the day brings. “I love rich, earthy tones like brown, burgundy, and butter yellow. A bold bag, a layered pendant, or a pop of color can instantly refresh a classic look.”

“(Motherhood) taught me to value versatility, craftsmanship, and comfort, without ever compromising who I am,” Cabigas reflects. She describes her style as “finding harmony between restraint and creativity.

In 2018, she and her husband Aaron co-founded Suki, the fine jewelry line that has become a favorite among celebrities and stylish millennials. Managing the brand as its co-founder and marketing lead is profoundly intimate and personal for Cabigas, who sees Suki as an extension not just of her personal style but of who she is as a person. “At its core, Suki isn’t about keeping up with trends. It’s about slowing down, being intentional, and creating jewelry that lasts—pieces that layer into your life, become part of your everyday routine, and say something about who you are without the need to speak.”

PL AYING DRESS-UP WITH KIDS

Cabigas and her husband’s creative collaborations go beyond the brand they built together; they also manifest when it comes to dressing the entire family, whether it’s the power couple’s color-coordinated ensembles, their two boys’ matching crocheted tops, or the family’s monochromatic winter outfits. “Styling my children has become a creative outlet for me—surprisingly therapeutic. I genuinely enjoy children’s clothing and love the art of mixing prints, textures, and colors. It’s turned into a little passion project. Getting them dressed and ready is another story, but we always make it work!”
