Catriona brings her creative eye and colorful personality into household iterations for her new cozy space

How we design and maintain our own spaces says a lot about our personalities, and that remains true for Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray. In her latest vlog, the beauty queen opened the doors of her new Pasig place for a sneak peek.

Sharing the first half of her home has already given us more than enough ways to adore its overall look and take inspiration from it. It is indeed a reflection of the adventures that Catriona has had in the course of her life. With that said, here are the things we love and can possibly cop from the Miss Universe herself:
Culture exhibition for the eyes
Raising the Filipino flag in any way that she can, the beauty queen has filled her home with mostly local designs and pieces. Catriona curated her space with so much intention that at the end of her condominium’s construction, everything literally and figuratively went into place. From the Yakan throw cases to the rattan and capiz chandeliers, her representation for Filipino culture is always present in her life.
Color the space pretty
It’s no secret that Catriona radiates a positive energy that translates into her colorful adventure of a life. That echoes through her home as well, with her choice of vibrant colors and various patterns. “Color’s in every corner of my home!” the youth advocate pointed out. The overall feel of her home is giving a tropical vibe, yet another way of embodying our country.
Calling life into the room
Lastly, Catriona mentioned that she is a huge fan of breathing natural light and breeze into her home. She shared that during the construction of her place she requested for a lot of walls to be taken down to invite openness into her space. Aside from her travel mementos and favorite books, she also incorporated plants and flowers in her decor.
