When Jenna Ortega met up with director Tim Burton, she just came from shooting her character’s death scene for a different TV show. The prosthetic used for the gun shot wound ended up actually wounding the actress. Thus, she showed up to her audition with a gash on her face, prosthetic blood, and sweat in her hair.
