MEGA’s Best Dressed List at the 67th Grammy Awards Delivers the Theatrics

This was a music awards show where glamour had bite, drama had structure, and the boldest dressers took home the gold

The Grammy Awards have always been the place where fashion takes the scenic route—sometimes off a cliff, sometimes into the stratosphere. It’s the one red carpet where a fashion risk (or even a full-on misstep) is infinitely more interesting than a predictable gown. This year, the stars took that philosophy to heart, arriving in looks that spanned from Old Hollywood elegance to deconstructed suits-cum-dress, with plenty of high-shine theatrics in between.

Sabrina Carpenter

in JW Anderson

Sabrina Carpenter gave us Old Hollywood, her pastel JW Anderson look was sugar and spice, with soft feathers and a vintage-inspired silhouette that nodded to the starlets of the past. But the way she wore it was pure 21st-century confidence.

Cardi B

in Roberto Cavalli Couture

Two animals walked onto the Grammys carpet: one striped, the other feathered. Lucky for us, they were both Cardi B. In a Roberto Cavalli Couture gown, she delivered untamed glamour with an asymmetrical mermaid-style dress embroidered to mimic the pattern of a tiger’s coat.

Janelle Monáe

in Area

Power dressing, but make it rock and roll. Janelle Monáe strode onto the carpet in a deep navy two-piece suit with exaggerated shoulders, accessorized with enough gold chains and gemstone accents by Area. A matching police cap sealed the look with the finishing touch being a Tag Heuer watch slung across her left sleeve.

Cynthia Erivo

In Louis Vuitton

Cynthia Erivo stepped out looking like the lead in a sci-fi epic we desperately want to see. Her Louis Vuitton gown, an elegant navy creation with a sculptural cut-out bodice and silver detailing, felt like something pulled from a futuristic royal court. With her signature sculpted nails extending the aesthetic, Erivo ruled them.

Doechii

In Thom Browne

Doechii’s custom Thom Browne look was what happens when a corset dress and a three-piece suit have a love affair. The pinstriped gown, styled over a crisp white button-down and matching tie, was a lesson in how to channel power. It was sharp, subversive, and the kind of androgynous genius Thom Browne lives for.

Beyoncé

In Schiaparelli Haute Couture

Beyoncé arrived gilded in Schiaparelli Haute Couture, wrapped in a beaded gown that shimmered with gold. But the true magic lay in the details: a Western paisley pattern stitched into the fabric, a tribute to her Cowboy Carter aesthetic.

Gracie Abrams

In Chanel

Chanel ambassador Gracie Abrams channeled bridal elegance in an ivory column gown that felt classic and fresh. The off-the-shoulder neckline, intricate floral center, and black belt detail added just the right amount of contrast.

Kehlani

In Robert Wun

Kehlani’s Robert Wun gown took the office siren aesthetic and dialed it up to full boss mode. The black pinstriped design featured a corset top, a sweetheart neckline, and triangular peplums at the hips—why settle for a power suit when you can wear a power gown? Accessorized with statement diamonds and long black gloves, the look was boardroom-to-ballroom.

Charli XCX

In Jean Paul Gaultier by Ludovic de Saint Sernin

Charli XCX arrived in full command, draped in a Jean Paul Gaultier by Ludovic de Saint Sernin couture gown that proved gray is anything but dull. The corseted bodice and cascading ruffles gave theatrics, while the knee-high gladiator heels added edge—like if Brat summer’s signature green grew up, went grayscale, and hit the red carpet.

At the 67th Grammy Awards, the fashion was loud, proud, and completely unapologetic. From classic glamour to fearless reinvention, this year’s red carpet was a stage where the boldest dressers took their victory lap.
