Amid a sea of embellished gowns and dramatic silhouettes, Niana Guerrero stood apart in a structured Francis Libiran suit accented with romantic lace details. It also marks her second consecutive appearance in Libiran at the MEGA Ball, underscoring a creative partnership that continues to align with her evolving sense of style.
MEGA caught up with the designer, who explained the inspiration behind Guerrero’s youthful and fashion-forward ensemble.

Tailored Romance
Designed to reflect Guerrero’s youthful energy and subtle edge, the look was the result of a collaboration between Libiran and Director Ariel Lozada, who helped shape its creative direction. Together, they crafted an ensemble that juxtaposed sharp tailoring with delicate romantic accents. “We created a tailored suit featuring a lace cravat for a feminine touch, paired with a cropped coat, a sheer blouse with ruffle details, and flared jeans,” Libiran explained.
While the look leaned into formal tailoring, Libiran was careful to ensure it remained authentic to Guerrero. “A tailored ensemble with romantic details felt like the perfect balance of structure and softness, making it a more natural choice than pursuing something completely different,” the designer shared.
If her MEGA Ball debut last year celebrated movement and glamour, this year’s look leaned into personality, infused with a touch of Old Hollywood allure.
Cinematic Elegance with Contemporary Fashion
“The look draws from Old Hollywood glamour but reinterprets it in a way that feels distinctly Niana,” Libiran reflected. That reinterpretation comes through in the dialogue between masculine tailoring and feminine embellishment. Rather than relying on a traditional gown, the designer embraced contrast, pairing a sharply tailored suit with romantic lace details that softened the overall silhouette.
“The tailored suit and lace cravat create a balance between masculine and feminine elements, blending cinematic elegance with contemporary fashion,” added Libiran.
Through Francis Libiran’s thoughtful balance of structure and romance, Niana Guerrero brought her own brand of confidence and individuality to the MEGA Ball. The result? A look that felt both cinematic and contemporary—a fitting reflection of a star who continues to define style on her own terms.
