MEGA’s Best Dressed at the 30th Critics’ Choice Awards Showed Off Statuesque Figures

Power, precision, and plenty of polish—this year’s Critics’ Choice Awards attendees walked the red carpet in ensembles that framed their bodies best

After a being moved due to the Los Angeles wildfires the Critics’ Choice Awards has returned, and with it, an onslaught of fashion that stood tall, sharp, and statuesque. Structured silhouettes dominated, draped gowns commanded attention, and even a touch of cinematic nods wove its way onto the carpet. Whether it was Demi Moore’s dramatic Schiaparelli, Nicole Kidman’s effortless take on suiting, or Zoe Saldaña’s draped in Saint Laurent, the message was clear: confidence looks even better with a little architectural finesse.

Demi Moore

In Schiaparelli

Demi Moore arrived in Schiaparelli, proving once again that elegance can have an edge. Her strapless navy gown featured a sweetheart neckline and black crystal embroidery that wrapped around the bodice like couture armor. Inspired by the stitches in The Substance, the design was equal parts haunting and hypnotic, tied together with corsetry and Tiiffany & Co. jewelry.

Angelina Jolie

In Elie Saab

A romance, a dream, a vision—Angelina Jolie floated onto the carpet in an Elie Saab lace gown the color of cappuccino. The plunging V-neckline, the cinched waist, and the sheer intricacy of the fabric made her look as if she had just stepped out of a sepia-toned love story. Soft yet commanding, delicate but undeniably powerful, it was the Jolie effect in motion.

Cynthia Erivo

In Armani Privé

Cynthia Erivo arrived in a black Giorgio Armani Privé gown that was as sleek as it was spectacular. The patent effect on the fabric gave it a futuristic edge, while crystal micro-edging and intricately hand-embroidered camellias ensured the craftsmanship was second to none. Dangling diamond earrings framed her face, but her signature stiletto nails—painted a crisp white—provided the ultimate finishing contrast.

Hannah Einbinder

In Louis Vuitton

Minimalist makeup. Maximalist presence. Hannah Einbinder’s Louis Vuitton gown, drenched in a rich olive green, struck the perfect balance between restraint and character. Its sculptural structure gave it a whimsical edge, proving that sometimes, the simplest colors and shapes create the loudest statements.

Kathryn Hahn

In Oscar de la Renta

Witchcraft or wardrobe mastery? Kathryn Hahn cast a sartorial spell in an Oscar de la Renta gown that looked as if it had been woven by an otherworldly force. The black fabric, left wild at the ends, had a certain chaotic elegance—one that felt fitting for the actress who embodies Agatha Harkness with just a glance.

Naomi Watts

In Prada

Naomi Watts understands the power of subtle seduction. In a Prada gown that glided over her frame, the real showstopper was in the side paneling—sliced just enough to bare skin but never teeter into excess. A masterclass in controlled sensuality, accessorized with Tiffany & Co. jewels.

Zoe Saldaña

In Saint Laurent

Zoe Saldaña was draped in the moment. Her Saint Laurent gown, a luscious red that fell in folds of liquid fabric, was an appreciation to old-school glamour. A look so rich in color and movement, it felt like she was receiving her flowers in fabric form.

Ella Hunt

In Fendi

In a silver Fendi gown, Ella Hunt shined almost literally. Sleek, sophisticated, and utterly effortless, the look epitomized glamour in gleaming details. With clean lines and a metallic finish, it was proof that simplicity, when done right, is the height of elegance.

Nicole Kidman

In Saint Laurent

Nicole Kidman made a slouchy Saint Laurent suit look like the epitome of high fashion. Effortless but intentional, relaxed but razor-sharp, it was the kind of androgynous cool that only a true style icon can pull off.

Danielle Deadwyler

In Prada

Softness meets structure in Danielle Deadwyler’s pastel pink Prada gown. The column silhouette was classic, but the translucent tulle overlay gave it a dreamlike quality, like something plucked from a fairytale.

From statuesque gowns to tailored structures, the Critics’ Choice Awards proved that standing tall in fashion is about more than just posture—it’s about presence. And this year’s best dressed brought that in full foundation.
