At last count, dancer, content creator, and social media phenom Niana Guerrero has over 101.5 million followers across all her platforms: 45.8 million on TikTok, 15.9 million on Instagram, and 15.8 million on YouTube, and 24 million on Facebook. That’s more than the population of countries like Thailand, United Kingdom, France, Italy, and South Africa, just to name a few. That’s how many people are watching and waiting for her posts and videos.

“It’s crazy,” 19-year-old Guerrero confesses. “I’m super grateful, but sometimes there’s pressure. I just try to remind myself to enjoy it and not forget why I started in the first place,” which is to share her love for dance. “What I love most about dance is how free I feel when I’m doing it. It’s really the way I express myself, especially when I can’t find the right words. It just makes me feel alive.”
As she had shared to MEGA in her cover story in the November 2024 issue, “I keep things fun and real as much as possible, and I feel dance is something everyone can sort of just vibe with.” For her, anybody can dance, if they want to. “A good dancer isn’t just about clean moves, it’s about the feeling. You can be super technical, but if there’s no emotion, it’s not the same. But you don’t have to be ‘good’ to enjoy dancing. As long as you’re having fun, that’s what matters.”
In real life, Niana is far from what you would expect an internet superstar to be. She remains surprisingly low-key. What you see from her videos is what you get in real life with her. Her down-to-earth authenticity remains remarkably solid, perhaps because she has surrounded herself with people who are close to her and know her best. In a sea of comments and criticisms that flood social media, she listens to the advice of her family—especially her parents—the most. “They’ve seen it all with me, so their advice means a lot!”
And though she has collaborated with inter- national superstars such as Liza of BLACKPINK, J-HOPE of BTS, the girl group Katseye, and singer Meghan Trainor, her constant collaborators are her siblings. “It’s been fun, honestly,” she says about sharing the spotlight with her siblings in her videos. “We’ve always done things together and we’ve been through a lot. We’ve grown up learning with each other, so it just made us closer.” As Niana continues to grow and thrive as a content creator, she finds inspiration in people who are a lot like her: people who stay true to themselves, “Whether it’s through music, art, or just how they live—it pushes me to grow and keep going.”
