Rishma Dhutti’s journey into ThetaHealing began during one of the most challenging times of her life. In 2013, she experienced immense grief and loss after the sudden passing of her father, followed shortly by her mother’s terminal disease diagnosis. “That year literally shook my sense of stability, security, and sense of self,” she shares with MEGA. In a state of loss and grief, she discovered ThetaHealing, a mind-body-energy modality that allowed her the space to navigate her emotions and transform her pain.

The Power of ThetaHealing: Rewiring the Subconscious Mind

At its core, ThetaHealing works by accessing the theta brainwave state—a deeply meditative state linked to healing and transformation. “Through a guided roadmap of meditation, we connect to the energy of creation, or what many call the universe or God,” Rishma explains. “In that state, we can identify and clear negative beliefs, replacing them with positive ones.” This ability to directly shift subconscious patterns is what makes ThetaHealing unique, allowing individuals to break free from limiting thoughts and step into a new, empowered reality.

While ThetaHealing emphasizes connecting with a higher power, Rishma clarifies that it is not tied to any specific religion. “Anybody who wants to practice this, regardless of their background, can do so because it’s a spiritual philosophy,” she explains. Others feel stuck in their careers, unhappy in their marriages, or unsure of their next steps.” Whether it’s financial abundance, self-worth, or manifesting desires, ThetaHealing works at the subconscious level to clear internal roadblocks, because the practice is about aligning a person with what they truly want. “The problem a lot of people face is that they want something, but they don’t have the energy or the vessel to receive it,” Rishma explains. “My work is helping anchor people to the right values so they can actually create the life they want.” By shifting these limiting beliefs, ThetaHealing empowers individuals to step into opportunities with clarity and confidence.

Without realizing it, we continue to live out these childhood beliefs, repeating the same patterns until we become conscious of them or actively choose to change them. By connecting with the inner child that was wounded or overwhelmed, ThetaHealing helps individuals heal these past wounds at their core. “When you don’t outgrow the pain of your inner child, you end up replicating those childhood experiences as an adult,” the ThetaHealing instructor explains. This shift in understanding allows clients to break free from limiting patterns, release the pain that has been holding them back, and finally create a life aligned with their true potential.

But while ThetaHealing can resemble therapy, it takes a different approach. “It’s not just about talking to someone and offloading your heaviness,” Rishma clarifies. “In therapy, you may feel better in the moment, but the change isn’t lasting.” ThetaHealing works by identifying patterns and coping mechanisms that continue to cause pain. “We find those patterns in your subconscious and, by connecting to the Creator, we rewire them,” she adds. The process doesn’t just address the symptoms—it transforms the beliefs and coping mechanisms that are creating the struggles, allowing clients to move forward with a sense of peace and empowerment.

The frequency of ThetaHealing sessions really depends on the individual’s needs. “Some clients come to me when they’re facing specific challenges,” Rishma says. She shares the story of a client who, after 20 therapy sessions with no results, decided to give ThetaHealing a try: “When she came to me for just one session, the shift was profound. She felt like a completely different person—more powerful and empowered.” This dramatic transformation highlights the lasting change ThetaHealing can bring, especially when it addresses beliefs and coping mechanisms on a deeper level.
