All The Beauty Details You Missed at Paris Fall/Winter 2025

Paris this season was a cacophony of bold beauty. Coperni had models with acrylic lashes, Valentino took ‘blush blindness’ to new extremes, and the list goes on. But while everyone was talking about the loud looks, we say the real standouts were the ones that slipped under the radar. We weren’t supposed to notice them, but we did anyway. From thin threads on the crease to red mascara, here’s what you might have missed.

White Undereyes at Giambattista Valli

A single stroke of white on the waterline instantly lifted the models’ gaze. A beauty trick borrowed from the quiet genius that is Asian beauty, it brought a fresh clarity to the eyes and paired well with this collection of flowing chiffon, precise tailoring, and ‘60s-inflected elegance.

Reverse Eyeliner at Dior

Liner at the Dior show took a detour, skipping the lash line and going straight into the inner corners. Peter Philips, Creative and Image Director for Dior Makeup, used Diorshow On Stage Crayon 099 Black to sharpen the gaze without the usual theatrics. With how wearable it looks, could this be a new trend?

Babydoll Lashes at Chloé

What’s a fashion week without a lash moment? At Chloé, lashes were coated, stacked, and then segmented into precise clusters. Each blink of the models teetered between ingénue charm and femme fatale intent.

Peach Wash at J. Salinas

The fun in no-makeup-makeup is the deception. From afar, models seemed bare-faced (or blessed with painfully perfect skin). But up close, makeup artist Guilio Panciera swiped the faintest veil of pale peach that brought enough warmth to keep things from looking plain.

Burgundy Blinkers at Victoria Beckham

Victoria Beckham’s study of the push and pull between precision and instinct didn’t stop at the clothes. Lashes were heavily coated in a shade of burgundy—specifically, Future Lash Mascara in Bordeaux—while the rest of the face stayed clean and pristine.

Faint Sculpt at Ottolinger

Apologies to the overliners and dark-liner devotees; Ottolinger went the other way. Lips were traced with my lips but better shades, leaving lips looking naturally plumper, filler-free.

Frosted Lashes at Weinsanto

It was a case of fashion frostbite over at Weinsanto’s ice-cold show. With lashes that were iced over and cheeks dusted in snow, the models looked straight out of a winter spell.

Threaded Crease at Ganni

It was crochet and furnishing fabrics galore at the house of Ganni—right down to the makeup. Lead makeup artist Lynsey Alexander pulled threads straight from jacquards and tapestries and stitched them onto the crease like a beauty heirloom in the making.

Paris this season teaches us that beauty can be in the blink-and-you-miss-it moments. You don’t catch them at first, but once you do, they’re all you see.
