Bangs were the real winners of this year’s Grammys. Just ask Miley Cyrus, Sabrina Carpenter, Taylor Swift, and more
If the 2025 Grammys had a beauty category, bangs would have swept the board. From Taylor Swift’s classic full fringe to Sabrina Carpenter’s smoldering curled bangs, it was a fringe festival right on the red carpet. It seemed to be the unspoken theme of the night as these women proved that the perfect bang could frame a face with the kind of power usually reserved for the night’s winners.

Sabrina Carpenter

What would Sabrina Carpenter be without her bangs? Still Sabrina, but we’ve come to know her never without it. The first-time Grammy winner sported a curled updo, channeling a relaxed Shirley MacLaine in What a Way to Go. As her signature bangs were more deliberately styled this time, it’s clear that she does leave quite an impression.
Miley Cyrus

Given a choice, would you wear long hair or a bob? Miley Cyrus settled for both in a jellyfish haircut which she debuted at the Grammys. Blunt, chin-length pieces framed her face with full bangs softly and slightly curled to the side, while the rest of her long ‘bronde’ hair cascaded loosely.
Cardi B

The rap royalty wore a different iteration of a bang at this year’s awards. And no, it’s not the razor-sharp angled bangs she wore to the Mugler S/S 25 show, but one straight out of a ‘50s Hollywood film. They were exaggeratedly curled to the side with an equally exaggerated side part, proving she’s never one to do subtle.
Lady Gaga

Continuing the jellyfish haircut saga at the Grammys was Lady Gaga. After sporting platinum hair just last month, she went full contrast with straight, shiny, jet-black locks that screamed reinvention. And while her brows were notably absent, she wore a perfectly cut micro bang that spoke louder than any bold brow ever could.
Doechii

What a night for Doechii—becoming the third woman ever to win Best Rap Album at the Grammys. But lest we forget the hairdo. The rapper wore an intricate blend of braids and finger waves. The front sections were slicked into serpentine-like curves, flowing down her forehead and face in a perfectly coiled manner. There must be no limit to how many statements you can make in a night.
Taylor Swift

The “Reputation” singer set the internet ablaze with her red minidress with a sultry “T” thigh chain, but it bears moving your eyes up to the hair. The loose curls were the background to her perfectly styled fringe—full, flawless, and face-framing—styled with the kind of precision that could rival her lyricism.
Kali Uchis

At the Grammys, Kali Uchis took the side bang to the next level. Ever the queen of lush, vintage waves, the “Moonlight” singer went for a deep side part, letting her bang curl so dramatically it flirted with intrigue—one eye hidden, all the mystery intact.
Clairo

Clairo traded in her signature curly shag for something sleeker, moodier, and almost doll-like. While her long hair flowed past her shoulders, the star of the ‘do was the micro bang moment. Crisp, center-parted, and curled to the side, it was a beauty statement to remember.
