Take it from Lierge Perey herself: Emanuel Riñoza’s pierced-heart couture creation is quintessentially her.

Have you considered being Lierge Perey this Halloween?

TikTok is already full of recreations of her most memorable makeup looks, along with hilarious parodies of people sweeping their hair to the side and strutting just like her (twinning!). But if you want to stand out and really capture that “Lierge effect,” there’s no better style inspiration to add to your mood board than the custom Emanuel Riñoza dress she wore to her Vice Cosmetics party, where she also celebrated her cover star moment as the face of MEGA’s October 2026 digital issue.

You know us very well by now. We LOVE fashion. We love a good pasabog, which was, funnily enough, what Perey asked for when they were brainstorming for her attire. “It was actually the first day of October when Lynus (Martin), her stylist, messaged me to ask if I could custom-make a couture piece for Lierge,” the designer shares with MEGA. “He said that Lierge specifically requested that he message me for an inquiry about this custom piece, and he mentioned that it was for Vice x Lierge. So without a doubt, I just knew I had to do it because it would be the first time I’d be dressing up Lierge in custom. The first one was her first MEGA feature way back in 2024.”

Initially, Riñoza presented several options to Perey and Martin, including cleaner, sleeker sketches, but the pair opted for and sparkle instead. When the garment was finally ready, it was nothing short of extravagant: a sculpted mini covered in black beadwork and finished with cascading beaded fringe. Its most striking detail was the pierced-heart centerpiece made up of blush-pink crystals, radiating outward in a sunburst pattern. It was equally fierce and feminine.

“For the brief that was given to me, Lynus mentioned something about the Queen of Hearts, and everything just revolved around that,” Riñoza notes. “They also sent me the style code of the event, where the heart elements were also present. As a conceptual designer, I always do elements that are very in-your-face—a statement detail that speaks for itself.”

And if that wasn’t impressive enough, the designer took no shortcuts in completing this look. Perey herself was surprised to discover just how much handwork went into her dress. “I just know she gagged!” Riñoza laughs while we pick up our jaws from the floor. “She was stunned when she learned that the details of the dress were all hand-sewn. Even the embellishments and rhinestones were placed by hand, one by one. During our fitting, I just knew she was feeling her oats, and that made me so happy as well.”

Okay, so maybe becoming the woman of the hour for one evening is too ambitious of an undertaking if we don’t call Riñoza ahead of time. His mastery of couture isn’t something we can whip up overnight, but who can really blame us for dreaming? “This dress is very me,” is exactly what she said when we asked which wardrobe items best represent her. And with 2026 shaping up to be a year of abundance for her career—several magazine features and a growing list of beauty collaborations—we can’t think of a better time to celebrate everything that makes Lierge Perey, well, Lierge Perey.
