Now This Is a Launch: A Hair-Themed Obstacle Course for the Sunsilk Anti-Hairfall Plus System

Sunsilk’s NEW Anti-Hairfall Plus System launch swapped the usual standing-and-sipping for a course built around the routine. Here’s why it worked.

You register, get a lanyard, find the product on a pedestal, and stand nearby while someone explains what it does. Most of us have been to that launch, and most of us can’t tell you much about it a week later.

Sunsilk went another way. On October 9 and 10, the Sunsilk Zero-Lagas Energy Zone took over Bridgetowne in Pasig City for the launch of the NEW Anti-Hairfall Plus System, and the first thing guests were invited to do was move. It’s a fitting invitation for a girl who is always on her way and needs her hair to keep up with her day while still looking effortless. Guests and personalities joined in, and across both days they met the Hairkadas as the event opened its doors to everyone.

Always Start With a Warm-Up

Guests registered and received their event bibs, a detail that mattered later, since a completed bib became a raffle entry. A pep rally opened the program, followed by a warm-up with the Hairkadas: Belle Mariano, Ashtine Olviga, and Kai Montinola. It changes the room. People who arrive as an audience start feeling like part of the day once they’ve been asked to stretch, cheer and laugh, and by the time the first station came into view, nobody was standing on the sidelines.

The Routine Became the Course

The system is a step-by-step routine, and the course followed it, one station per step. The Anti-Hairfall Plus Shampoo came first, as a pyramid to scale and the first test of the day. It’s steep enough to make you pause at the bottom, and with strangers cheering from below, you find the nerve to go up anyway.

The Anti-Hairfall Plus Treatment followed, and the pull became a shot. A tall purple wall asked “got lagas?” and answered with nine hoops, each one sitting over a benefit of the treatment, from scalp nourishment to a secure hold. Guests grabbed a purple ball and aimed. It’s quick, a little competitive and very easy to cheer for, and it turned into a team effort whenever friends gathered around the wall and counted every basket with whoever was shooting.

Then came the Anti-Hairfall Plus Serum and “Stay rooted,” a cage of rings to hang from for 60 seconds, hair down and arms up. The top five guests earned special access, which is exactly as tense as it sounds. Sixty seconds feels long when a crowd is watching, and that’s the point.

Nobody needed a slide to explain any of it. Strength showed up in every step, and the energy carried through all of them.

The Finish Line

The last challenge was the shortest and the loudest: waving the hair-stand ropes for 15 seconds straight. No pose and no angle, just movement, which is how she lives anyway. Fifteen seconds is quick, but long enough to feel it in your arms, and the sidelines made sure no one finished unnoticed. From the sidelines to the spotlight, the cheering never really stopped.

Moments in Between

Around the course, there was plenty to take in. A purple product booth and a large brand wall gave guests a closer look at the Anti-Hairfall Plus System between stations, and the photo spots, built for fun and playful pictures, were never short of takers. There was food and drink for the in-between moments, and a Refresh Zone where guests could try the full routine, wash and styling included, before heading back out. Raffle entries worked the same way as everything else: finish the course, and your completed bib was your ticket.

The moments people will remember were the unplanned ones—good company, new connections, a stranger cheering you up the pyramid, a friend who finally let go of the rope.

Up Close With the Hairkadas

The day closed with the Hairkada meet-and-greet, where Belle, Ashtine, and Kai signed photocards and posed for group photos with guests. Each of them brought their own personality to the Zero-Lagas Energy Zone, and that’s the point. Great hair and great energy go hand in hand, and neither looks the same on everyone.

What This Format Got Right

The launch didn’t ask anyone to take a claim on faith. It created a space to try the routine on your own terms and turned hair care into an experience of its own. It also made something else clear—a launch doesn’t have to be quiet to be taken seriously. When people are laughing and cheering for strangers, they remember what the brand came to say.

It also showed what zero hairfall is really for: getting through the day with nothing to check, fix or hold back. For a girl who’s always in motion, that’s the whole idea.

Behind the Energy

The system is powered by Sunsilk’s most advanced anti-hairfall complex to date, with patented Dynoxidil and Ceramides, and reduces hairfall by up to 95%. It’s the reason the course could ask for so much movement and so little worry.

The Anti-Hairfall Plus System is not just about having less hairfall. It’s about being confident enough to show up as yourself and bring your own Zero-Lagas Energy: the belief that zero hairfall opens the door to zero limits.
