Vice Ganda’s cultural impact transcends genres and mediums. There are his ever-popular movies, his long-running spot as a host on It’s Showtime, and his many other TV shows. But there’s one Vice Ganda project that has remained influential long after it aired, and that is Gandang Gabi Vice.
From 2011 to 2020, the actor and comedian hosted a late-night talk show that became a must-watch not just for fans, but viewers in general. It stood out from that era’s TV programs for how it brought Vice’s comedy and wit to the talk show format, leading to fun and often candid conversations with A-list stars you wouldn’t find anywhere else. To this day, clips from the show continue to go viral on social media even though it was last on air in March 2020.
And finally, after a six-year hiatus, GGV is back on air with its long-awaited return starting this September 13 with Alden Richards serving as the first guest of the show’s new era. The show will be launching a new season airing on Kapamilya Channel, iWant, and GMA Network (yes, you read that right). Meanwhile, a companion show called Unfiltered will also arrive on iWant, which are the uncensored and uncut versions of the episodes that couldn’t air on free TV. GGV was a staple of late-night TV for a generation, so its return is a welcome one to many. With that, we rounded up our dream guest list of stars we’d love to see on the new season of Gandang Gabi Vice.

Anne Curtis – A Bestie Moment

With Gandang Gabi Vice back on air, it only feels right that one of its guests is not only an A-list star, but one of Vice Ganda’s closest friends. While viewers frequently see them on It’s Showtime together, GGV is a whole different setting, and it would be fun to see Vice interview Curtis again after so many years. It could even serve as a retrospective on their decades-long friendship.
Annette Gozon-Valdes – GMA’s Big Boss

What better way to welcome Gandang Gabi Vice to GMA than by having Annette Gozon-Valdes, GMA Network’s Senior Vice President, as a guest? Vice Ganda with one of the heads of the station is going to make for must-see TV and fulfill all those years of jokes about Vice being in GMA. It has the potential for a very entertaining but also insightful conversation.
Ashtine Olviga – A Rising Star Comes to Late Night

Back during its original run, Gandang Gabi Vice was a popular stop for many rising and up-and-coming young stars. If that’s the case again for the new season, then we’d love to see Ashtine Olviga as a guest. In this era of collaboration between networks, it’s not out of the realm of possibility for Olviga to do so. Vice Ganda interviewing Ashtine Olviga? Now that’s a crossover we’d pay to watch.
Bea Millan-Windorski – Miss Universe Philippines Meets Vice Ganda

Whenever we see Miss Universe Philippines 2026 Bea Millan-Windorski, she’s always refined, polished, and put together, and as it should be. But it’s also why it would make sense to see her guesting on Gandang Gabi Vice. It would show viewers a different and more lighthearted side of the beauty queen. Catriona Gray was interviewed by Vice Ganda on GGV after she won Miss Universe 2018, so there is precedent for this to potentially happen.
BINI – Eight Members = Endless Fun

As the biggest P-pop girl group in the country, BINI feels like a mandatory guest for the new season of GGV. Not only would it be a more easygoing setting for the group, but it could also showcase a different side of the members as they react and adapt to Vice’s signature brand of comedy. While they are currently on a world tour and thus too busy to do so this year, they could hopefully make it on next season if the talk show is renewed.
Kris Aquino – The Iconic Comeback

Back in August, Kris Aquino shook Pinoy pop culture with her unexpected return to the spotlight courtesy of Netflix. So, it only feels right that if she is healthy enough to continue more public appearances, one of Aquino’s potential next moves is to be on GGV. She’s done it before, and it would be nothing short of iconic for the Queen of All Media to do so again as she slowly gets back on her feet.
Marian Rivera – A Dream Come True Guest

Now that Gandang Gabi Vice is airing on GMA, it opens the doors for Kapuso stars to be on the show. And at the top of that list is Marian Rivera. Vice himself has said that the actress is on his list of dream Kapuso guests for GGV, while Dingdong Dantes has been on the show in the past, so it honestly feels like a collaboration waiting to happen. We just know Rivera is more than capable of keeping up with Vice, and their banter together has the potential to break the internet.
Marina Summers – Drag Excellence on GGV

Philippine drag has exponentially risen in popularity over the years, and if there’s one queen who would make for a great guest on GGV, it’s Marina Summers. Vice and Marina already know each other, as the latter has served as a rotating guest judge on It’s Showtime. They’d easily play off each other’s energies, not to mention the statement it would make to see one of the biggest trans drag queens in the country be interviewed by an LGBTQIA+ icon on national TV.
Michelle Dee – MMD Meets GGV

Speaking of Miss Universe Philippines titleholders, Michelle Dee is one name we would love to see on Gandang Gabi Vice. When two influential queer stars are in the same room, it’s going to be nothing short of magic, especially in how Dee adapts to whatever Vice is going to throw at her.
Mika Salamanca – She Gets In on the Joke

The thing about GGV is that Vice often mines his guests’ lives for content to drive the conversation, and if you know Mika Salamanca’s history, then there’s a lot that can be used there. From her earlier years as a content creator to being a PBB Big Winner, she feels like the right kind of guest to have a fun time on the show.
