There was no in-between at MNL Fashion Week 2026. It was either “no-makeup” makeup or the boldest and brightest beauty looks possible. Yes, the clothes set the tone, but beauty amplified it—proof that a runway look doesn’t stop at the outfit.

Mane Au Naturel
Hair was kept natural, often with romantic waves and face-framing pieces. At Nicolo and Charlotte Folk, strands were swept back or left to fall naturally into soft waves, while Proudrace and Lorico opted for straight, glossy finishes. Whether neat or slightly undone, the looks embraced hair in its most effortless forms.
Color or Nothing
Color was everywhere at MNL Fashion Week—but not in the subtle, natural-flush sense. Here, pigment was meant to be seen. Yana Kalaw channeled ’60s vibrancy with bold blush and saturated pouts, while RANDOLF turned beauty into something almost electric, using vivid hues that caught the light. At HA.MU, on the other hand, color had no boundaries, appearing across the lips, brows, lashes, and even the entire face itself.
Vampy Pouts
Nothing screams drama quite like blood-red, maroon, and oxblood lips—the kind of shades that command attention the moment they hit the runway. Yong Studio, RANDOLF, and Lolah Roché made a case for the vampy lip, with deep pigments that appeared even richer under the runway lights.
Sunkissed
The sunkissed look, complete with its toasty, almost-orange blush and warm summer glow, is a beauty classic for a reason. At Antonina and Yong Studios, sun-warmed cheeks and bronzed complexions brought a touch of heat to the runway—proof that a good flush never really goes out of style.
Skin is Canvas
The phrase “beauty is art” was taken rather literally—and we’re here for it. At HA.MU and RANDOLF, the face became another surface for expression, with cheeks, foreheads, and jawlines covered in playful scribbles and drawings. It’s fun, irreverent, and a reminder that makeup doesn’t always have to beautify, but can simply create.
Beauty refused to settle into one definition at MNL Fashion Week 2026. Barely there or impossible to miss, polished or playful, romantic or rebellious, the runway tells us that beauty is at its most compelling when it has something to say. This season, the runway gave us permission to do both—to go bare, go bold, and everything in between.
