When SB19 formed 1Z Entertainment a few years ago, it didn’t just signal that the group would manage itself and its brand moving forward, but also promised a new era for OPM with a soon-to-be-built roster of artists. One of those anticipated first acts was 1Z’s first girl group, given SB19’s caliber of talent and reputation they’ve built for themselves. Now, the time has come as a new P-pop act enters the scene with the official debut of 1Z Entertainment’s first girl group, XONARA.

XONARA Makes Their Official Debut
XONARA is a seven-member girl group composed of members Eurekah, Ella, Dominique, Tin, Megumi, Lei, and Namie. Initially performed and teased during SB19’s Wakas at Simula: The Trilogy finale concert at the SMDC Festival Grounds on April 18, the group officially dropped their debut single TABI on May 15. And as they showcased during their pre-debut performance, the track is brimming with confidence, bravado, and swagger that makes its presence felt by the opening seconds.
The pop and hip-hop single sees the group stake their claim as a girl group to watch, and how people should make way for the freshest new crew in town as they seamlessly transition between vocals and rap bars.
“At their core is grit, but not the loud, chaotic kind. XONARA moves with silent confidence. The strength isn’t always performed but felt. It’s in the way they carry themselves, in both the restraint and presence,” reads the group’s official bio on their Spotify profile.
“They don’t need to be messy or overly expressive to prove anything, when they stand, you feel the weight of who they are. The grit lives inside, steady and undeniable. Their flaws aren’t hidden, they’re part of the art. Their process isn’t erased, it’s what defines them. And in that honesty, XONARA becomes more than a group, they become a reflection of what it means to create, to grow, and to carry quiet power with you.”
The group’s first visuals play into this individualistic unity as they’re dressed in Y2K-inspired grunge streetwear and photographed amidst the urban streets of Manila. Adding to their debut’s artistic merit, the members are credited as songwriters on TABI, with SB19’s Pablo and his brother Joshua listed as co-writers and co-producers on the track as well.
XONARA’s journey has been a few years in the making. The idea for the girl group first came about in 2024 when 1Z Entertainment held auditions and scouted for talent to train and potentially form the group. Those couple of years of training and development have seemingly paid off, given the positive chatter XONARA has gained in just a month.
Since making a strong first impression at the Wakas at Simula: The Trilogy finale concert, the group has been slowly but steadily building their presence with select public appearances. Notably, they held a surprise performance of TABI on Day One of the Aurora Music Festival in Clark, joining the lineup of superstars like fellow labelmates SB19, IV OF SPADES, and Ben&Ben. Also, as one of 1Z Entertainment’s first artists to debut, these young ladies are setting the tone of what we can expect, both from the company and as part of the next generation of P-pop girl groups.
Next up for the rookie group is their special launch event on May 16 titled XONARA’S WORLD, which will take place along Escolta Street in Manila from 12-10 PM. Unlike the typical debut showcase, XONARA’s WORLD promises their official live debut with activities, the release of TABI’s official music video, pop-up markets, and more activations and experiences befitting a street party in Escolata.
