Karina and NINGNING of aespa also made striking debuts—Karina in a hanbok-inspired custom Prada look, and NINGNING in an ethereal custom Gucci gown, following her recent brand ambassadorship announcement.

K-Pop Demon Hunters
Following the global success of K-Pop Demon Hunters, three of its cast members made notable debuts. Ejae shimmered in a bejeweled Swarovski gown, paired with a signature smoky eye. Audrey Nuna continued her bold streak in a black-and-white Robert Wun number.

Meanwhile, Ahn Hyo-Seop, the voice of Jinu, delivered polish in a custom Valentino look—a sequined suit layered over a gold shirt and punctuated with a vivid red scarf for added drama.

Sports Legends
As sport and style continue to intersect, these athletes brought both legacy and fashion to the forefront. Fresh from her appointment as a Louis Vuitton ambassador, Alysa Liu stunned in a voluminous red creation by the French maison.

Eileen Gu, one of the most decorated freestyle skiers of her generation, embraced spectacle in an Iris Van Herpen bubble dress—complete with floating bubbles drifting from the design.

Naomi Osaka marked her return in a two-part Robert Wun look, beginning with a sculptural ivory coat before revealing a fitted red gown adorned with crystal formations that echoed the human anatomy.
Laufey
Chinese-Icelandic singer Laufey returned to the Met Gala two years after her debut, captivating in a pearl-hued Tory Burch gown, fully sequined to catch the light with every movement.

Hudson Williams
Making his Met Gala debut, Heated Rivalry star Hudson Williams embraced dramatic dressing in a custom powder blue Balenciaga look by Pierpaolo Piccioli. Blending masculine and feminine elements, the ensemble featured a sweeping side train—subtly nodding to matador muletas.

Cai Xukun
Chinese artist Cai Xukun, also known as Kun, marked his second Met Gala appearance in a Thom Browne look inspired by his album’s title track, Deadman. The design juxtaposed white embroidery on black fabric with red and white sequins, creating a striking duality.

Hoyeon Jung
Model and Squid Game star Hoyeon Jung delivered edge in a black Louis Vuitton ensemble, featuring a sculptural overskirt of leather flowers layered over a fitted bodysuit.

Simone Ashley
Indian-British actress Simone Ashley embraced the nearly-naked trend in threaded silver chains by Stella McCartney, draped delicately across her frame. Paired with swept bangs and matching jewels, she might as well be claimed the diamond of the season.

Princess Gauravi Kumari
Jaipur’s Princess Gauravi Kumari made a graceful debut in a pink Prabal Gurung gown incorporating her grandmother’s chiffon sari—an elegant fusion of heritage and modern design.

Time and again, Asia continues to shape the global fashion narrative. From music to sport to film, its influence extends far beyond the red carpet—redefining style, setting trends, and leaving an indelible mark on the Met Gala stage.
