Composure: You see it in women who keep things running while everyone else is still deciding what tone to take. You see it in the bags they hold, the shoes they walk in, even the watches on their wrist. Apparently, you’ll also find it several thousand feet in the air, where hesitation is not an option and overthinking is, frankly, a liability.

TUDOR seems to recognize that power on sight. Its latest partnership with The Flying Bulls is a mutual respect between two entities that don’t romanticize difficulty, and instead operationalize it.

No Time for Second-Guessing

The Flying Bulls is an elite, Austria-based aviation group that restores, maintains, and flies a rare collection of historic airplanes and helicopters. They deal in extremes that would make most people reconsider their life choices. Think 80-year-old aircraft pushed to their limits, flipping with unnerving ease, and a schedule that treats time zones like minor inconveniences.

Beneath the daredevil act sits something familiar: constant calibration, multiple demands held at once, and the expectation to perform, adjust, and land cleanly—every time.

On their wrists, TUDOR watches keep count with reliability, needing no applause. Time, in this context, is something you meet head-on.

Made for Pressure, Not Praise

Since its founding by Hans Wilsdorf, TUDOR has built its reputation on durability and precision, producing watches designed to perform under demanding conditions. In 2017, the brand introduced its “Born to Dare” campaign, reflecting both its history and its continued focus on individuals who push boundaries across land, sea, air, and ice.

The Flying Bulls trace their origins to Sigi Angerer, whose interest in restoring historic aircraft led to the acquisition of a military training aircraft from the 1950s, a North American T-28B. The project gained momentum after he met the global energy brand Red Bull founder Dietrich Mateschitz, who recognized the potential of the aircraft as a symbol aligned with Red Bull’s identity. This collaboration led to the formal establishment of The Flying Bulls in 1999, which has since grown into a fleet of 45 aircraft operated by a team of highly skilled pilots and technicians.

Recognizable, even from the ground—the same composure that keeps things running, decisions sharp, and everything exactly where it needs to be.
