Shoes are arguable one of the most powerful accessories—they complete a look, elevate a moment, and often carry a story of their own. Known for his bridal creations and bespoke works, Jefferson Si turns shoes into keepsakes that celebrate life’s most important occasions. As Creative Director of his namesake label Jefferson Si and ready-to-wear line CURATED by Jefferson Si, he has earned a reputation for creating footwear that combines sophistication and comfort.

THE MAKING OF A DESIGNER
Jefferson Si earned a BFA in Art Management from Ateneo De Manila University—a background that sharpened his curatorial eye and sense of detail. Si’s passion for footwear started during a research project on Marikina’s long-storied shoe industry.
“Seeing how it was a struggling industry, with my idealistic heart, I thought maybe I had something to contribute to keep the tradition going,” he shares.
What began as an academic pursuit became something deeper—a calling to merge his artistry with purpose. Inspired by the people, the tradition, and the craftsmanship. “I started designing shoes when I was in my third year of college. It was after I did a research paper in school with the Marikina shoe industry as my focus of study that I fell in love with the city, the people, and the tradition of shoemaking.”
HOW THE BRAND TOOK SHAPE AND REDEFINED BRIDAL FOOTWEAR
The label officially took shape in 2015, when Jefferson designed a pair of bridal shoes for his best friend, who struggled to find the perfect pair—the beautiful ones were too painful, the comfortable ones not “bridal enough.”
“At that time, I already had a small ready-to-wear shoe brand, but I wasn’t really entertaining the thought of doing custom shoes—especially not for brides. I felt that was a lot of responsibility,” he recalls.
“Back then, custom wedding shoes weren’t really a thing yet. That was when the vision dawned on me—to bridge what’s missing: fancy shoes with exceptional comfort.”
From that one pair, the business grew naturally. Friends became clients, clients referred him to more brides, and soon the label had carved out its own niche—becoming synonymous with couture-level wedding shoes that prioritize style and wearability.
