For KLFW 2025, Syomirizwa Gupta traded the buzz of pre-party anticipation for the intoxication of the hours after. The Sweetest Hangover unfolded like the aftermath of a black-tie affair — when the champagne has flattened, the music has dimmed, and what lingers is a haze of glamour.

The collection balanced ease and opulence: languid draping, jewel-toned satins, and shimmer reminiscent of the last clink of crystal glasses. Crisp tailoring gave structure to the softness, echoing the moment when night still carries a trace of its formal beginnings.
Color shifted like the clock — from the noir and ivory of early evening to slivers of blush, amber, and deep emerald as the night stretched on. Each look seemed to suggest a different scene: the cigarette break on the balcony, the slow sway on an emptied dance floor, the taxi ride home in borrowed cashmere.
In Syomirizwa Gupta’s hands, the “hangover” isn’t fatigue, but the lingering high of a night too good to end.
