Q: Describe the ideal woman of today and what you have in common with her.
In her native language, Ileana Marquez Pedroza mentioned the 124 other candidates she shared the stage with. “Leaving behind our differences and sending the world a message of respect, love, and union because that’s the way the world is built.” Despite only getting to know the other women for a few days, they have formed a sisterhood, a bond that is stronger than competition.

Speaking from a place of experience is Chidimma Adetshina, answering honestly and eloquently. “We live in a society where we often don’t feel respected because of who we are, and I feel like when you respect yourself, you respect others around you,” the beauty queen expressed. Q: What qualities must someone have to be a truly successful leader?
Fervently, Opal Suchata answered with empathy. “Because no matter how good you are, no matter what kind of education you have, in the end, you need empathy to care about your people, to care about their wellbeing.” She emphasized that it should not only be limited to leaders but to everyone, as being able to empathize with one another is the key to a united world.
